Harrie, founder: “I love cigar-making machines and the technology which drives them. I saw how the industry developed from hand-made cigars to the latest machines. My curiosity drove me to dismantle machines and see how I could improve them.”

Only perfect is good enough

Harrie’s motivation is at the core of Ensa. A part costs money, as does replacing it, as does a machine standing idle. We believe: prevention is better than cure. This is why we ask ourselves each day how we can make our machines faster and more durable, and how we can reduce wear and tear. We research how we can further reduce maintenance costs and rejection rates, and increase our machines’ up time. And here too, you can expect high quality solutions.
