The HTL-feeder is mainly built from aluminium and stainless steel and is basically used to unroll the HTL (homogenised tobacco leaf) roll, transport it and cut it the right position.

The leafcarrier of a cigarrolling machine (MIDE, MIL, MID, MIDS, MIR, MIRE) can pick it up and wrap it around a bunch to a cigar.

The control has to be arranged in the cigarrolling machine like:

  • pneumatic valves,

  • electrical control (laser)

  • program (PLC)

  • vacuum from the fan of the MI.

 

To avoid bumping and create the best settings the cutting rollers are mechanical driven by a cam fixed on the mainshaft of the cigarrolling machine.
